The White House is a family run hotel, and as such is able to offer a much needed personal service to our wedding couples, ensuring the special day goes just as you expect.
LocationLocated in the beautiful Vale of Clwyd, nestled between the Clwydian Hills and the North Wales coastline, the house is set in it's own grounds affording excellent parking facilities and delightful gardens. Function SuiteOur newly refurbished function suite can cater for up to 200 guests. The suite has a large dance floor and new state of the art sound and lighting system. Civil CeremonyIf you are seeking an alternative to a registry office or church ceremony, then The White House offers the perfect setting. The ceremony will take place in our large conservatory area underneath a stunning hanging crystal chandelier. The room hire charge is £150.00 and our friendly wedding coordinator will advise you of the procedure involved, and your choice of music during the ceremony. MenusThere is a choice of wedding menus on offer. If there is a particular menu you have in mind please contact us: we are happy to discuss options. We do require that you choose one menu for the entire wedding party, though we will of course cater for vegetarians or those with dietary requirements different from your chosen menu. Music and EntertainmentFor your evening reception we ask that you use our DJ to ensure quality and for insurance purposes. The cost for this is £150.00. Please ask if you require any other entertainment. DatesSaturday weddings booked between June and September may require minimum numbers of 60 to the wedding breakfast and 80 to the evening reception. Please contact us about availability. Please ask us for prices for any other dates as we can offer a discount on midweek weddings. Wedding BreakfastIncluded in your wedding breakfast will be:

Terms and ConditionsA non-refundable deposit of £300.00 is required at the time of booking with a completed booking form. 12 weeks prior to the wedding day 40% payment is required, and the balance is to be paid 28 days prior to the wedding. An additional £200.00 is required when paying the balance of the wedding, to cover the cost of any unlikely damage that may occur (this is standard practice in the hotel industry). Any damage that occurs above this amount you will be financially responsible for. Insurance - we highly recommend you take out wedding insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances. Should any of your guests be staying in out hotel accommodation default on payment for their rooms, you will be financially responsible for any outstanding amounts. Cancellation policy - in the unfortunate event that the wedding should be cancelled or postponed, charges will apply and are based on the estimated numbers given at the time of booking: Cancellations made 6 months or longer 25% charges will apply; cancellations made 3-6 months prior to the day 50% charges will apply; and cancellations made 3 months prior to the day 100% charges will apply. All cancellations must be made in writing and will not apply until it has been received by us. All guests in attendance must comply will all the licensing and other regulations regarding the hotel. No food and drink is to be consumed on hotel premises other than that supplied by the hotel. For weddings taking place on a Saturday between June and September there is usually a minimum of 60 adults required to the wedding breakfast and a minimum of 80 to the evening function (please ring and check for availability). We ask that you use our resident DJ as to ensure quality and for insurance purposes. If using balloons in your décor, we ask you use our supplier as to ensure quality and no damage to interior of rooms. If you wish to have fireworks at your wedding, they must be booked through the hotel, to ensure they comply with safety and insurance. Please note that we do not allow confetti at the hotel unless it is biodegradable. We require your choice of menu at least 4 weeks prior to the wedding, and ask that you choose one menu for the wedding party (vegetarian option available). All prices quoted are correct at time of going to print, and we reserve the right to amend prices as we see necessary.

Party Package ChargeOnly £8.95 per person (minimum of 70 required) If the booking is for less than the minimum number, there is a standard charge of £100.00 for room hire plus £150.00 for the DJ if required. Buffet MenuPlease select five items from the following. For any additional items please add £1.50 per person for each extra item:
Terms and ConditionsA non-refundable deposit of £100.00 is required within 7 days of the booking: Bookings will be cancelled if the deposit is not received within 7 days. The full payment for the party will be required 2 weeks prior to the party along with your buffet choices. Please note that for cancellations received 14 days prior to the party a 100% cancellation fee applies. In the unlikely event that any damage may occur, we require a £100.00 security bond which is fully refundable after the event.
